From April 25 to 30, Vancouver will host an array of events celebrating the world’s finest bartenders and their craft. With the fourth annual North America’s 50 Best Bars Awards taking place on April 29, the city is buzzing with excitement. If you’re a fan of craft cocktails, you won’t want to miss the NA50BB events, which bring together some of the world’s top bartenders and bars. Here’s a rundown of the events and happenings happening in the city during this time.
Collaborations on Commercial Drive
Eight bars on Commercial Drive will be pairing up with each other to produce a limited-edition cocktail menu from April 25 to May 2. This is a great opportunity to try unique cocktails at multiple bars with minimal effort. Some of the pairings include:

- Loula’s x Bar Corso
- The Flamingo Room x La Mezcalaria
- Havana x Mum’s the Word
Tlecān Takes Over The Flamingo Room
On Sunday, April 27, Mexico City’s Tlecān will be hosting an agave seminar and tasting at The Flamingo Room, accompanied by Solmano Mezcal and Don Fulano Tequila. Eli Martinez from Tlecān will also be taking over the bar from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to serve up his signature cocktails.
Bar Takeovers and Late-Night Sessions
Several bars will be hosting bar takeovers and late-night sessions, including:
