The Brewing Process

The partnership between Guinness and Bature marked a historic milestone – the first Guinness draft beer brewed locally and instantly in 60 years. The Category Lead at Guinness Nigeria, Ife Odedore, explained that “This collaboration is about more than just beer. It’s about creating a new standard for local production and innovation in the brewing industry.” The brewing process for Guinness draft beer is a complex one, involving multiple stages and precise temperature control. The beer is first mixed with nitrogen and carbon dioxide gases to create the signature creamy head. The mixture is then transferred to a keg, where it is stored at a precise temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.

The event was a huge success, with attendees praising the food, entertainment, and overall atmosphere. The Irish Food Festival was a vibrant and lively celebration of all things Irish. The exclusive Irish food menu featured hearty and flavourful dishes, including traditional favorites like shepherd’s pie, Irish stew, and soda bread.
